Minirenderer

Stack: C++, CUDA, graphics programming, CPU & GPU rendering
Overview
Minirenderer is a 3D software rasterizer written from scratch in C++, built to understand what happens between a triangle in memory and a pixel on screen. It implements the rendering pipeline by hand rather than relying on an existing graphics API.
What I built
- Geometric transformations (model, view, and projection) and the camera pipeline.
- Phong shading and lighting computations.
- Rasterization algorithms optimized for the CPU.
Current work
I am extending the renderer with a CUDA-accelerated engine that performs parallel raycasting and lighting computations on the GPU.
